Halloween may be two days away, but it's Halloween party weekend. So today, we got Halloween music on lock.
Featured in a Geico commercial, this Mysto and Pizzi remix features a nice remix of Rockwell's classic Somebody's Watching Me. This version is not sung by Rockwell, but I'll include the link to his version as well just because the background is sung by childhood friend Micheal Jackson. AND the video is the bomb! I suggest looking up Rockwell, he has family ties to LMFAO and a bunch of other famous Motown artists.

First of all, sorry for the late posts in the latter part of this week. I've been swamped at work, but I'm going to try to fix that up. 2nd, and this is a major change. I will no longer have the top billboard songs on Saturday's, instead it'll just be the Fresh Pick, it seems like more people like that. If you read this, you probably want to see my picks, not the top rated songs, so that's what you're getting! So, this week's fresh song comes from my boy Childish Gambino, with his song Break. I heard this a few days back and just about exploded in realizing how legendary this song is. He covers Kanye West's All of the Lights. And in my opinion, he does a damn good job of it. Welcome to a beautiful Saturday afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the fresh songs of the week. Once again, the first two picks are not mine, but the last one is all me. Let's get into it shall we?
MMVA's are this weekend, so we're going all Canadian.
The top video from Much More Music is Avril Lavigne'sSmile, but I don't like that song, so I'm going to post the number 3 video (because I can). So, the top video according to me is Bruno Mars' Lazy Song
The top song according to the MuchMusic countdown is Who Says by Selena Gomez. Now, although she's from my culture, I just can't put that on this blog. The number two song will be featured instead, and this one's a party number and a half, Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO
And then, of course, is the fresh pick. Thisone is a fresh remix. From one of my favorite remix/mashup groups, White Panda we got Good For Girls. Mixing up some WalePretty Girls, with a little Matt & Kim Good for Great. It comes together to romance your ears in a magical way.
I realize this is a little later than usual, and that they're not the number one songs, but I felt rebellious so I had to break a few rules. Now comes the time where I get you guys to like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter and here on Google. Also, please tell your friends about this, the more people who read this the better.
And of course, as is tradition on Saturday we got out weekly shout outs. Ladies and gentlemen I present to you the songs of the week. I'd like to point out that the first two choices are not selected by myself, rather they are gathered from Billboard Top 100 and MTV top music video. The last choice however, the "fresh pick" if you will, is all me. This pick is not necessarily a song that is new or that is at the top of the charts, rather it is simply the song that I've really been feeling this week and that I've played the most. And finally, the moment you've all been waiting for (or just one of you) the fresh pick of the week. This week I've been heavily playing Chiddy Bang's latest mixtape Peanut Butter and Swelly and I've been really reeeally feeling the song "I Can't Stop". It samples Flux Pavillion's song of the same name and the track just goes hard. A nice, yet filthy drop really brings it all together.
As a new little thing, every Saturday there will also be a weekly shoutouts, this week it goes out to, well, it goes out to you guys who read this. However, the big shout outs go to my buddies who promoted my page on Facebook, I'm talking about you Suchs, Sean, Aryan, Linh and of course manager Dave, aka DCar aka CreelmanKid.
