Ready For A Roadtrip

Fresh Saturday, lets get into it.

Billboard's top song this week was once again, Adele's Rolling in the Deep. But I'm putting up the number two song with Pitbull ft Ne-Yo, AfroJack & Nayer's Give Me Everything.

Vh1 top music video of the week was Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull's On The Floor.

The fresh pick for the week comes to us from Canada's own D-Pryde. With Highway which is off his new mixtape "Mars"

Weekly shout outs to Suchs, Creelmankid, and anyone else who reads this. The support is appreciated. Remember to like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and rate/comment below. Please please please keep on spreading the word about this and try to get more people to read it. Any little bit helps. I'll be back Monday with a motivational song. Until then...

Stay Fresh,
RG

I'll Take You There

2 years ago from tomorrow, the world lost one of the greatest artists to ever live. This is for him. This is for Michael Jackson. This is it. (ok, you gotta admit, that was clever as hell).

Now that it is officially summer for not only myself, but for high school students as well, we get an opportunity to sit back for a bit and really enjoy the little things. With the end of a school year comes a regained energy and vision. A moment of clarity if you will, where we can put our blunders behind us and focus on relaxation/good times. It seems as though summer is so far away from the beginning of every year, yet it sneaks up on us and leaves before we know. So please please please take a moment and just relax. Take a week off and literally do nothing. You've been working for 10 months straight, now is a time to relax, and refuel. And of course feel good, so, today's Feel Good Friday is a Michael Jackson classic, P.Y.T. This song is the sample used in Kanye West's Good Life (that song will probably make an appearance here sometime). So with the beginning of summer I invite you to sit back, relax, and feel good. It's Feel Good Friday!

Remember to rate/comment below or on Facebook. Also, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. Keep spreading the word. Everyone should be experiencing this. So share the wealth. Spread the word like a wild fire. I'll be back tomorrow with the fresh pick, until then...

Stay Fresh,

We Going Straight To The Wild Wild West

It's officially summer. So Will Smith is in order. Nuff said.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen it is officially summer time. So you know what that means, days of not doing anything and just relaxing. So, in honor of summer, and in honor of it being Throwback Thursday I thought I'd pull out a little something special today. I do this because I love you guys. Combining the feel good rhymes and nostalgic factor of a Will Smith cinematic feature song with some acting gives us today's Throwback Thursday! Allow yourself to relax and the memories of the 90's flow back into your body. Shout out to Shaun T for getting me thinking about Will Smith after he posted a Fresh Prince video on my wall (best show ever). He's also a big help on Throwback Thursdays because he's got a deep passion for these old school tracks, for that I thank him. So, press play, sit back and relax.

A reminder to like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and here on Google. We're 44 likes away from starting to vlog. So please please please keep spreading the word about this like wild wild west fire (see what I did there). The more people here about it the better, so keep spreading it. Also check out GentleNation, they can hook you up with some illy tracks for free. So check them out. They're also on Twitter. I'll be back tomorrow with a feel good song. Until then...

Stay Fresh,
RG

We Gonna Set This Party Off Right

My favorite artist, with a song off my favorite album. Beauty!

If you know me you know that I love Kanye West. Just like a fat kid loves cake. Now, this is off his College Dropout which is by far my favorite album. I don't think I've ever heard an album all the way through so many times. Like, lets put it this way, if I was on an island with one album, this would be it. I think I made my point right? I can move on? K. sweet. So here's the music video to his song All Falls Down. The first time I saw it when he looks at his reflection in the mirror and in the car window I was like

Then I was like, "this will do, I quite enjoy this." Also, check out how the acoustics change when he's in the bathroom. Also note Common is in the video. And when Kanye is in the x ray you can see that there is a piece of metal in his jaw. For those of you who don't know Kanye West was in a near fatal car crash that resulted in his jaw having to be wired to his face. You can read more about it here. Now, for those of us who don't have wires in our face I invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy some Kanye. Don't forget to rate/comment below or on Facebook.

Also, a reminder to like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and here on Google. Also keep spreading the word like a fat kid spreads mayonnaise (I'm really into the fat kid jokes today, it'll be better tomorrow). A big welcome to the new people who read this, hopefully you guys enjoy. If you have any suggestions/recommendations feel free to email me. Also, check out my boys at GentleNation they'll hook you up with some illy tunes. And you can also follow them on Twitter. We're just 46 likes away from blogging to begin so keep spreading the word.... again... I'll be back tomorrow with a throwback track. Until then...

Lactose Tolerant, Addicted To Cheddar

Actor, writer, rapper, he does all of it.

Motivation Monday everyone! I'm here to get you nice and pumped up/motivated for this week. Now, I've been awaiting this day all of last week because this has been on constant replay on my Ipod. If you're not ready to kick some ass after this, you probably don't have a pulse. Legit, you're probably dead. Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover (guy who plays Troy on Community) is not only a great actor, but also a fantastic musician. Here he is with his song Hero. So, stand up, and get ready to get energized. It's Motivation Monday!

A reminder to like us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter and on Google. Also, please remember to tell people about this page. I'm going to do something here, if we get up to 100 likes on Facebook, I'll start doing a few video segments (this is good). Lets get this thing big! Also, if you guys have suggestions or songs you want me to post, feel free to email me and let me know. I'll throw you shout outs too, so it's a win win. I'll be back tomorrow with some local talent. Until then...
