Who's Watching?

Halloween may be two days away, but it's Halloween party weekend. So today, we got Halloween music on lock.



Featured in a Geico commercial, this Mysto and Pizzi remix features a nice remix of Rockwell's classic Somebody's Watching Me. This version is not sung by Rockwell, but I'll include the link to his version as well just because the background is sung by childhood friend Micheal Jackson. AND the video is the bomb! I suggest looking up Rockwell, he has family ties to LMFAO and a bunch of other famous Motown artists.

Ladies and gentlemen, first and foremost, I know it's been a long time. But hopefully this song can make up for that. I know I personally have been knee deep in midterm season and it still feels as though it will never end. Fresh Saturday my people. We got a fresh track, a little older but still classy Anyone But Him. I don't have much to say on the subject. I was just really feeling this song all week so that's why it's here. Weekly shoutouts to Suchan and D Haid. Those boys give me some good feedback so I always enjoy having a nice chat with them. Super big shout to my man Dave aka Creelmankid. He's the man responsible for all this and without a few encouraging emails this may have ended. Since it's Friday you guys know that it's time to fell good. The end of the week signals 2 days of carefree living. If you'd had a bad week, it's all good cause it's a new day, soon a new week and before you know it you'll be back on your feet. It may seem as though all hope is lost and things are falling apart (Chinua Achebe anyone?) but as one of my friends has shown me sometimes the destruction of one thing lays down the foundation for something bigger and better (one can only hope). Today we have a little D Why with Wind Blows. I'm not gonna lie, I LOVE D Why. Everything he writes is pure gold and this is no exception. Prepare yourself to be lost in carefree rythym and rhymes. D Why delivers every single time you press play and never fails to impress. This one goes out to my boys Drew H, Mitch B, and Songah C always there to tell a good tale. I'm Off On The Adventure

Music video? Short film? Art piece? I'd say all three. I'd also say masterpiece.



I'm gonna let the video do the talking for me. It's absolutely fantastic. DON'T READ ON UNLESS YOU'VE FINISHED THE VIDEO. As some of you may know Kid Cudi is rumoured to have anger issues (hence Mr. Rager), from what I've read this is the basic synopsis: The Cudi in the black jacket is the good one, he's the one we're cheering for. The Cudi in the brown jacket is the bad one. The brown jacket is trying to corrupt/consume the black jacket. The other scary looking doods fighting is Cudi's conscience or his guardians if you will. Black jacket Cudi realizes that the only way to defeat his anger (brown jacket/Mr. Rager) is to kill it himself. He gets snapped back into reality with his counselor calling his name. She can be seen as one of the guardians as well because she is helping him defeat his problem. Other things to note: "oh hey it's Kanye West" at 4:23. Shout to Drew H for showing me this video. He's a good kiddo.
